it would be very useful to have the possibility to Change the Color of the notification Icon - in the same way one can Change the notification Icon itself.

Hi,
I believe this option is already built in. If you configure the display notification action and tap on 'set background' a chart of colour choices comes up.
Kindest...

That's not what i'm looking for. My idea is an Action 'set macrodroid Symbol color'.

You can no longer have a coloured icon in the notification bar. The design specs mandate that they are solid white only.

The design specs mandate 1 colour icons for a good reason. These coloured icons can break and look horrible depending on what an app is doing with the status bar.

Colo(u)red icons can be really useful. The app WIFI Manager shows f.e. just by the colour of the icon the status of the connection.

I really would like to have this feature in MD. What happens if you ignore the design specs in this case - like others do?

Hi, sorry to jump onto this thread.

But if you won't add colour icons, would you consider a colour status bar option? Even if simple/primary colours.
There's tons of apps which do this, and having a simple colour coded status for certain events really would be handy indeed.

For example, whilst driving trying to determine an icon is dangerous, so I have colour coded status bars via another app but really want to migrate to Macrodroid totally.
